Joseph V. Maruca

Attorney Joseph V. Maruca joined Sykes and Cole in
1991 after graduating from the New England School of Law in Boston.
Attorney Maruca has spent his entire legal career at Sykes and Cole
concentrating his practice in estate planning, estate administration,
probate, real estate, and elder law.
In addition to his legal work at Sykes and Cole, Attorney Maruca serves
as General Counsel to the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighters
Association (MCVFA) and as a volunteer attorney for Cape Cod and Islands
Legal Services Law Firm Counseling Project from 1992 to 2005.
Attorney Maruca is a member of the Board of Directors of the Estate
Planning Council of Cape Cod.
Joe serves his community as an elected member of the Board of Library
Trustees for the Sandwich Public Library. He was first elected in 1991
and continues to serve on the Board.
Attorney Maruca grew up in Springfield and Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He
is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management (SMG 1981)
with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After BU, he
worked as a Legislative Assistant for the Massachusetts House of
Representatives and attended the New England School of Law at night.
Attorney Maruca has also served as volunteer firefighter/emergency
medical technician (EMT) for more than 30 years. He first joined the
Longmeadow (Massachusetts) Fire Department as a High School Senior in
1977. He served with the Sandwich Fire Department for 15 years. He is
now Chief of the West Barnstable Fire Department, a primarily volunteer
organization.
Joe lives in East Sandwich with his wife, Regina and their two
daughters, Nina and Carly.

Laura M. Boucher
 Attorney Laura M. Boucher was born and raised in Centerville,
Massachusetts and graduated from Barnstable High School and Middlebury
College.
Having spent several years in public relations and special events in New York
City and Boston, Attorney Boucher attended and graduated from Suffolk
University Law School in 1991. After two years as a litigator with
Feinberg, Charnas and Birmingham in Boston, she worked as a legal
recruiter with Bickerton & Gordon, and later became the Assistant Director
of Human Resources for Hutchins, Wheeler and Dittmar. She returned to the
Cape in 2002 and worked as an associate at Toabe and Riley in Chatham
until 2008, specializing in trusts and estates and real estate. She joined
Sykes and Cole in 2009.
Attorney Boucher is a member of the Barnstable County Bar Association and
the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod. She is admitted to practice in
New York and Washington, DC, as well as Massachusetts.
Laura lives in Centerville.
